Butterflies bring happiness and joy.

But the butterfly that brought me the most happiness and joy is this one…my wife.

  1. I also believe that winter is gone and spring is real when you see your first butterflys… Your photos are amazing.

They definitely are harbingers of sunnier, happier days ahead. For me, growing up in the mid-west, Robins do this as well.

      Thanks for the kind words.

  2. Lovely post! I saw my very first butterfly of spring this weekend. It was a Mourning Cloak – they’re always the first to arrive here. Looking forward to Monarchs, Swallowtails and Painted Ladies.

Oh yeah, my wife and I are always out trying to find butterflies to photograph. We’re still trying to get a swallowtail. Spring is a happy time for us.

      Thanks kindly for your comments.

    I just commented that I love owls…well I love butterflies too 🙂
Your attitude regarding the last photo will never put you on the wrong path.

    • EagleAye says:

Aw, thanks. I’m sure my wife agrees with you. She loves butterflies too. One day, we found a bush covered in butterflies and they didn’t fly away if you got close. I think we spent an hour there. I was getting ready for a nap.
