Weekly Photo Challenge: In the Background

This week’s photo challenge is to submit pics where the main subject fades into the background or the background dominates the subject. The challenge post may be found here: http://dailypost.wordpress.com/2013/05/24/weekly-photo-challenge-in-the-background/

I don’t have many pics of me, but I find it endlessly amusing to take pictures of my wife taking pictures of something. She is an outstanding photographer, so I like to get the interesting image she’s photographing and her at the same time. Here blog may be found here: http://www.sheywicklundphotos.com/blog/

On to the pictures…

An attractive path. Brilliant minds think alike…

I’m taking a picture of Bluebonnets, with my wife, taking a picture of Blubonnets

I’ll sneak a pic of my wife through this waterfall while she…Hey!

About EagleAye

I like looking at the serious subjects in the news and seeking the lighter side of the issue. I love satire and spoofs. I see the ridiculous side of things all the time, and my goal is to share that light-hearted view.

  2. Is that a bamboo “forest”? In Texas?:-) The shot of the wife in action in a sea of bluebonnets is very romantic.

That is in the Zilker botanical garden beside the Japanese Garden. So of course, there’s a bamboo forest there. We spent a lot of time just enjoying it amongst the bamboo. It’s curiously relaxing.

I have many pics of Shey in the Bluebonnets. It was the perfect place for a glamour pictorial.

Thanks for coming around for a visit. It’s always a pleasure.
