Kissing Day – Trifextra: Week Eighty

Written for Trifextra: Week Eighty. A limerick for love. It begins after the image.

Kissing Day

Joon and Jae found kisses on a sunny day
Both with braces entangled a difficult way
Tooth by tooth, they conjoined
For hours their lips were joined
Now old and grey, still kissing hours a day!

This weekend, the challenge for Trifextra is to write 33 words including the word, “tooth.” Original writing prompt may be found here:

Special Bonus. My other limerick wasn’t nearly 33 words, but still fun.

The Change

Valerie’s big tooth spoiled her smile
Childhood’s years hugging herself awhile
Then she got it changed
Self-esteem rearranged
Married a prince on the bank of the Nile

About EagleAye

I like looking at the serious subjects in the news and seeking the lighter side of the issue. I love satire and spoofs. I see the ridiculous side of things all the time, and my goal is to share that light-hearted view.
