Garden Growing – Trifextra: Week Eighty-One

Written for Trifextra: Week Eighty-One. A limerick for the lighter side. It begins after the really cool composite image of seasons from Eirick Solheim. Each very thin slice is part of a photo taken during the seasons of a full year. All the seasons in one photo!

Garden Growing

Janie loved her porch, watching seasons go
The view so lush, but no garden did grow
Tom came to fix her clock
Janie loved his big…tock
Now garden is growin’ on the porch with her beau

This weekend’s Trifextra is still 33 words, but this time to keep it light, and this time a really cool image is also in the prompt. I like the light. Here’s this week’s original prompt: http://www.trifectawritingchallenge.com/2013/08/trifextra-week-eighty-one.html

About EagleAye

I like looking at the serious subjects in the news and seeking the lighter side of the issue. I love satire and spoofs. I see the ridiculous side of things all the time, and my goal is to share that light-hearted view.

And what exactly is a ‘tock’? Oh, never mind…I don’t want to know πŸ™‚

Life is just better all the way around when you find the right person to share it with!

Since clocks go “tick tock,” watchmakers always have one of each handy. And…you’re not buying this are you? Okay, nevermind. πŸ˜‰

It definitely is better with someone to share. So both are quite happy now.
