Restaurant Review
“This is it?” grimaced Gunter. ” ‘Astounding decor?’ This is all for $300 per plate?”
“And the freshest sashimi in the world, Monsieur,” smiled the waiter.
Gunter sat down scowling. “I’ll have the sashimi, I guess!”
Several minutes later a fish, resting on a clamshell plate, rose from water beside him. It was held aloft by a stunning blue-tinted woman, swimming easily in the water. She winked alluringly and dove, her fish tail flipping flirtatiously as she swam away.
Gunter finished his meal in a stunned stupor, and began to take notes for his review.

Me too. I think I want some sushi now. Put a beautiful mermaid in any plain room and she’ll make the whole thing sparkle. Problem is, they’re hard to come by. 😉

Great story – only I think this is a picture of a ferry boat. I rode a ferry just like this one a few months ago. 🙂

I agree, I think it is a ferry, but I’ve also seen old boats turned into floating restaurants. I saw this and thought immediately that it would make for a great restaurant. I just ran with that idea. Thanks so much for your thoughts! 🙂

Hmm. Good point. I imagine being served by a mermaid would overshadow the smell. Certainly, Gunter changed his mind about the place very quickly.

I would think so. Mermaids may be female, but they are still fantastic creatures from anyone’s perspective. Besides, there are Mermen… 😉

Oh-we do eat a lot of fish in our community but mostly river fish & very cooked-sashami if I am not wrong is kind of raw?Just guessing though-maybe someday I will get to taste it-will keep it in mind-thk u EA:-)

Yes, Sashimi is simply raw fish. I usually have Sushi, which is raw fish on a tiny bed of rice. The fish is usually Salmon, Halibut, Mackerel, and assorted kinds of Tuna. Best consumed with Asahi beer and shots of Sake (rice wine). Mmm mmm!

Ha!ha!In India,most of us are not used to eating anything raw and salmon is quite expensive-don’t think we get Halibut -maybe mackarel:-)Yes I have heard of that beer(tho i do not drink alcohol) from a foodie friend as well as Sake:-)Will definitely tell him about this sp dish-he keeps going abroad ,so he can have it:-)
