Written for Trifextra. A limerick about giving thanks a ‘special way’ follows the image.
Thanksgiving Play
John and Alice found love on Thanksgiving Day
In the barn, they gave thanks on a bale of hay
First there was moaning
Followed by a bellowing
At the feast they heard it, thinking, “animals at play!”

That’s what I’m thinking. Why not give thanks for “willing and able” good friends? Thanks much for sharing!
