The Chain Writing Game

The next installment in Kerrie Salsac’s Chain Writing Game. The fun continues.

Episode 17

With a protesting Aadila hiding in the bushes, Cindy found the other girls locked in a room inside the house. The screwdriver came in handy for removing the doorknob. The panicked women followed her out the door. In the yard, Jimmy stood before an SUV and aimed a Glock at her head.

His nasty smile twisted suddenly as a shot rang out and his chest exploded. Mac stepped out, pistol in hand, shouting, “Get in! We’re being watched.” He pointed to a nearby house.

She hustled the teen-aged girls inside the car.

Once inside, she growled, “I have questions.”

“I know.”

About EagleAye

I like looking at the serious subjects in the news and seeking the lighter side of the issue. I love satire and spoofs. I see the ridiculous side of things all the time, and my goal is to share that light-hearted view.

We haven’t had a description of Mac yet. Maybe he’s good looking?

I ran out of space, so yeah, I hope somebody remembers Aadila. She’s the eldest of the lot, and possibly a translator for several of them.

Yup. He’s got more depth than even he realized. Of course, now he’s deep in the s**t right along with Cindy. His treachery was almost certainly observed. Things are really going to get sticky.

Glad the screwdriver wasn’t too slippery from Agrit’s brain fluids 😉 Mac to the rescue. I’m guessing undercover agent assigned to bring down the slavery ring. Time to read on and find out! Great continuation!

Thanks J! Agrit’s brains finally got put to good use. Yeah, I hadn’t thought far into that, thinking somebody else might fill in the details. I did think he might be an FBI operative. On the other hand, he might just be madly in love with Cindy. I could see it going either way.

Heh. I decided to go FBI, and one who isn’t too happy about being ordered to break cover for a slavers wife 😉 It’s nice when you can make your own prediction come true 😀

I like the direction. It easily makes sense. And anyway, it’s up to the FBI to protect innocents, and Agrit is dead as it stands. The only guy left is Guiliano, or is there more?

Right now I think there’s George and Guiliano, but he’s a Mafia don so he has other resources. There’s a hit out, so I’m guessing (hoping?) we’ll see an assassin soon. We have two 21’s so someone will have to decide whether to keep the new agents introduced (with a possible traitor among them) or a former classmate of Cindy’s who is now Mac’s boss.
Glad I have to wait 😉
