Battle of Sparrows

Recently, our local sparrows finally realized the suet we placed is pretty tasty. This started a feeding frenzy and more than a few fights.

About EagleAye

I like looking at the serious subjects in the news and seeking the lighter side of the issue. I love satire and spoofs. I see the ridiculous side of things all the time, and my goal is to share that light-hearted view.

House Sparrows come and bring the whole family! Nice to see a Tufted Titmouse. πŸ™‚ The sparrows can’t get to the suet for the starlings here!

They certainly do. There’s a whole clan in the area. Our sparrows pretty much own the place. Titmice show up fairly regularly. We get Chickadees and the occasional White-Eyed Vireo. So far, it’s mostly sparrows on the suet. I’m hoping the Jays and Cardinals will show.
