The Chain Writing Game v5.0: Episode 3

Kerrie Ann Salsac’s Chain Writing Game continues in week 5. The game where each participant adds a piece of the story. Ben has a chance with the girl of his dreams, but what twisted events can change the story? What will happen? It’s all up to us who play the game to imagine what comes next!

Episode 3

Ben tried not to look at Kelly too much. He knew he would stare if he did. He perfume smelled sweet. It was driving him mad.

“There’s the most wonderful jewelry store on five,” said Kelly. She smiled her characteristic crooked grin.

“I hear it’s great,” murmured Ben. Her jade eyes held his entranced, though her clingy silk top vied for attention.

The elevator stopped and the lights went out.

Kelly screamed. “Oh shit, oh shit,” she panted. “I hate elevators.”

“It’s okay,” soothed Ben, trying to be more confident than he felt.

“Hold me please!” He felt Kelly’s hands touching him.

Ben told her to be calm and pressed the alarm signal. The elevator jerked and started to descend. Once at ground lobby…Ben felt a bit accomplished as the smile in kelly’s eyes were saying thank you most beautifully. Each went off in own way..yet the thought made them smile for longer..

This is moving fast. Maybe they should have taken the stairs after all, though this could be Ben’s chance 😉

Come on, guys, I shoot agents in my stories, not the mushy stuff! 😉 Ha! I’m getting a Die Hard/Resident Evil feel from this one with Ben being the one schmuck that doesn’t know what’s going on.

  5. That was so cheesy, “Hold me please.” You made her one of those sissy girls. Thank goodness she turns into a bad ass with a 45. 🙂

Agreed. She was playing it up for Ben’s sake, trying to maintain her cover as a common office worker. If I get a chance at it, she’ll be even more badass than that.
