The Chain Writing Game V6.0 Ep:12

It’s time for another fabulous issue of Kerrie Ann Salsac’s Chain Writing Game! The game where many authors add 100 words at a time in sequence to build a story. This week, no one including Jadir, has ever ventured beyond the wall. After a bout of drinking and dare, Jadir gains the liquid courage to travel into the unknown. What will happen? Will he survive? What is out there? It’s all of us to find out as the story unfolds. Join us!

Episode 12

She led him through a tunnel of thick vines until they entered a cave. “The animals can’t find us here,” she said. “I am Eliya of the Adjani people.”

Jadir was captivated by her lavender-colored eyes. “Uh, Jadir.”

“You are of the people in the stone.”

“Uh yeah, I guess.”

“Adjani people have rescued those who leave the stone before.”

“They survived?”

“Yes, but it is deadly without help. I have endured the Meshmalang, surviving alone, for four months now. Our shaman has failed to return.” She removed her animal skin coat, revealing a scantily clad, lithe body. “I’ve been lonely.”

About EagleAye

I like looking at the serious subjects in the news and seeking the lighter side of the issue. I love satire and spoofs. I see the ridiculous side of things all the time, and my goal is to share that light-hearted view.

Oh boy. Looks like Jadir’s day just took a turn for the better 😉

  2. kerrieanns says:

Ah you got in there so much quicker than me 😛
I prefer yours to what I wrote anyway, so it’s a good thing really 😀
Very creative! Who are these Adjani??

    • EagleAye says:

Thank you, Kerrie! In my mind, the Adjani are the descendents of people who were never enclosed in the wall. Living successfully off the land, they commonly rescue people who venture outside the wall.

Still, I think there’s something similar to Frank Herbert’s Dosadi Experiment going on if we have people living so long within the wall. It seems to me that someone is running an experiment. If so, then who?

  3. Jadir would like to see the faces of his friends now. Danger yes, but Eliya is lonely 🙂

  4. Danny James says:

Along with the ability to kill people we now can play around with sex. Opps that came out wrong.

  5. Joe Owens says:

Jadir gets saved and then gets his reward. Too many positives, there is bound to be some bad over the horizon.
