The Chain Writing Game V6.0 Ep:26

It’s time for another fabulous issue of Kerrie Ann Salsac’s Chain Writing Game! The game where many authors add 100 words at a time in sequence to build a story.

This week, no one including Jadir, has ever ventured beyond the wall. After a bout of drinking and dare, Jadir gains the liquid courage to travel into the unknown. What will happen? Will he survive? What is out there? It’s all of us to find out as the story unfolds. Join us!

Episode 26

Jadir watched them hold hands and then kiss before they ran deeper into the city. A tear slipped down his cheek as he realized the love his life never truly was. “Camilla! No!” he shouted after them, and the earth split again. More sections of wall collapsed.

“Calm yourself, destined one,” soothed Eliya. She stared at him with limpid, beautiful eyes. “She may have betrayed you, but I never will.”

Ezreet ships flew nearby, surveying the damage. Eliya pointed at the hovering vessels. “Save your anger for them.”

Jadir turned and his eyes glowed blue. The ships erupted into flame and smoke.

About EagleAye

I like looking at the serious subjects in the news and seeking the lighter side of the issue. I love satire and spoofs. I see the ridiculous side of things all the time, and my goal is to share that light-hearted view.
