Dangerous Documentary

Briana rang the dinner bell and her eight sons raced into the shed. They attacked their meal with vigor.

“Manners, boys! Say hello to Mr. Whittaker.”

“Hello, Mr. Whittaker!” chorused the boys.

“He’s doing a documentical of life on the farm.”

“They’re very hungry.” noted Whittaker, looking pale and wincing at the loud chewing.

“Yup.”

“It seems…” said Whittaker, turning slightly green when a dollop of meat flew onto his sleeve.

“Oh, it’s fresh,” said Briana. “Had to put the old girl down earlier.”

“But, it’s an entire horse!”

“Well yes,” said Briana. “What’s a momma to feed eight hungry werewolves?”

About EagleAye

I like looking at the serious subjects in the news and seeking the lighter side of the issue. I love satire and spoofs. I see the ridiculous side of things all the time, and my goal is to share that light-hearted view.

Hahaha! Why, yes, I was grinning. πŸ˜€ Journalist can sometimes be a very dangerous job. Maybe you’re better off this way. At least you can finish breakfast with a calm stomach. πŸ™‚

Hehe. Werewolves get mighty hungry. I don’t think Whittaker could actually present all of the video of the meal. Not without a Hard-R rating. He’ll probably cut most of it.

  11. Good story and surprise ending. I wonder if another journalist passed that assignment on to him knowing, but not telling, what was involved. That would be a dirty trick.

Haha! That really would be a vicious trick. I wonder if if Whittaker ended up a vegetarian after the filming. Poor guy was becoming traumatized. Thanks for stopping in and commenting!

  12. The title takes on a whole new meaning with that last line. πŸ™‚ Poor Mr. Whittaker either has some serious guts or had no idea what he was getting himself into.

i don’t know whether to admire Mr Whittaker for his courage or scratch my head at his foolishness. dangerous job indeed… or was he lured under false pretenses. well done with the unexpected ending. πŸ™‚

Maybe a little of both. I think he knew he was filming a family of werewolves (brave), but didn’t realize how gruesome their dinner table could be (foolish). And standing anywhere near werewolves in a feeding frenzy is probably not terribly smart.

      Thanks for stopping in!

That ending was good for a giggle. And here I thought the documentary was being made because the woman had 8 sons. Nicely spun.

    Cheers!

  16. Dear Eric,

Now that’s one helluva feeding frenzy. Ick. You have a way with mixing horror and humor. I’m willing to bet that “Young Frankenstein” is one of your favorite movies. πŸ˜‰ (It’s one of mine.)

Funny and fun in a totally twisted sort of way. I love this, though I have to admit I thought it was a family of serial killers, not werewolves, but then again I was right in a way…

Ultimately, you are right. I think the mom wants to keep them on the straight and narrow and only eat animals. But who knows how long that can last? Thanks so much for stopping to visit!
