Wild Bird Wednesday

Our trip to the Songbird Festival in Balcones Canyonlands Wildlife Preserve was a stellar success. Thanks to the near-supernatural talent of birder extraorinaire, Shelia Hargis, we got many views and many great pictures of beautiful birds. Here’s a small sampling.

About EagleAye

I like looking at the serious subjects in the news and seeking the lighter side of the issue. I love satire and spoofs. I see the ridiculous side of things all the time, and my goal is to share that light-hearted view.

Haha! This guy was busy trying to scare off a rival, the one playing from the birding leader’s cell phone. 😉 He wasn’t impressed because my cheeks are simply not as bright as his. 😉

Wonderful post – I’m so snowed under at present its not funny! You picture of the flycatcher looks a lot like the ones I managed to take last month – I think they are tour red for the camera to deal with properly!
