Back to Nature

My wife and I needed to get out of the concrete jungle for a while. We love time at home, and we can happily spend all day at our computers, but sometimes you just gotta get out there and smell the green stuff. We assembled a picnic lunch and went to nearby Commons Ford Park. It’s a huge place with plenty of hiking and lots of wildlife. In just a few hours, stress was relieved and our emotional batteries recharged. Here is a small sampling of the sights we enjoyed.

About EagleAye

I like looking at the serious subjects in the news and seeking the lighter side of the issue. I love satire and spoofs. I see the ridiculous side of things all the time, and my goal is to share that light-hearted view.

I can totally identify with your first paragraph. A friend and I escaped to the botanical garden yesterday–a much-needed reprieve.
