Butterflies Galore

While visiting the Wildseed Farms outside Fredericksburg, TX, we came across hundreds of Queen Butterflies visiting the flowers there. Here’s a sampling of what we saw.

Brilliant Minds…
My wife and I have been sitting on these pics for weeks. It’s funny that without ever saying anything about it, we both decided to post our pics within minutes of each other. Check her pics out. She’s a brilliant photographer. See them here: http://sheywicklundphotographs.com/2014/07/01/monarch/

About EagleAye

I like looking at the serious subjects in the news and seeking the lighter side of the issue. I love satire and spoofs. I see the ridiculous side of things all the time, and my goal is to share that light-hearted view.

Well this explains why we haven’t seen very many butterflies–you have them all!

I just love butterflies! I’ve been waiting for you to post these ever since you mentioned you were going to 🙂 They are just beautiful, Eric. I have a DVD on the migration of the Monarch butterfly. Absolutely amazing!

Most cool. I’d hoped you would enjoy these. It was truly spectacular to witness. We stood there taking pics for a long time and the butterflies were not fazed at all by our presence. I saw a video on Monarch migration. It’s fascinating to learn about it. Thanks so much, Lyn!
