The Wonderful Way of Wimberley

Recently, Shey and I visited the picturesque small town of Wimberley. This artist’s colony has it’s own way of doing things and it shows in nearly every direction you look. Here’s some of the beautiful things we saw during the day.

About EagleAye

I like looking at the serious subjects in the news and seeking the lighter side of the issue. I love satire and spoofs. I see the ridiculous side of things all the time, and my goal is to share that light-hearted view.

looks like a great little town. pretty skies.

  2. I am always intrigued at how much parts of the US look like parts of New Zealand. That picture of the road and bridge particularly. It’s uncannily like part of the Kapiti Coast, north of Wellington, apart from the fact that you guys drive on the wrong side of the road. šŸ™‚

The central Texas area is interesting like that. It has a wide variety of terrain. I often get comments from folks saying it reminds them of another place. That’s really cool for me because it means I get to visit other countries often. šŸ˜‰ On your other point, it’s documented fact that Americans drive on the “right” side, so it can’t be “wrong.” šŸ˜‰
