Weekly Photo Challenge: Fray

This week’s photo challenge is: Fray. This could mean something a bit ragged or perhaps a bit of a tussle. Here are my interpretations of the challenge for the week:

Few things in nature say “frayed” to me as much as the hide of the American Bison.

A Phoebe in desperate need of a comb.

“You keep stickin’ that camera in my face, and we’re gonna have a problem, pal.”

A Philippines butterfly having a bad hair day.

A bird who needs to fire his hairdresser. Philippines Black-Naped Monarch.

About EagleAye

I like looking at the serious subjects in the news and seeking the lighter side of the issue. I love satire and spoofs. I see the ridiculous side of things all the time, and my goal is to share that light-hearted view.

LOL I imagine you and birds often get into an a-fray over taking their pictures 😀 I agree about the bison, they are a mangy looking bunch aren’t they.

Yup. Talk about getting the hairy eyeball, eh? That’s not the first look I’ve gotten like that. And yeah, what’s up with the hide of Bison? I have no idea why it does that. It’s like they’re wearing their great-grandma’s well-worn blanket or something.

Funny frays! It’s a great time of year for that with all the molting going on.

Don't be shy. Say something!
