Servicing – Gargleblaster #181

“Too much!” said Albert into the phone.

“What about Tuesday?” said the dispatcher.

“Is she talented?”

“Tuesday’s got great hands. $150/hr.”

“Hmmm. Is there a Wednesday?”

“$125/hr. She’ll finish you quick.”

“Sounds nice,” grinned Albert.

“Excellent. Wednesday’s car mechanic does great work.”

You certainly led us by the nose on that one–down the garden path and back up again. I thought he was after a massage. $125 an hour? That’s daylight robbery mate. My mechanic only charges $80 an hour and even lets me pay it off.

Haha! Tricky, tricky. I’ve actually seen repair prices like that. I thought the same as you, that it’s robbery. I suppose if someone was working on your Aston-Martin, you wouldn’t worry about that price too much. If you can afford an Aston, then that’s pocket change. 🙂

LOL definitely no Aston-Martin on my front lawn. I drive a red 2000 Hyundai Accent Hatchback. Why red? Well, everyone knows red cars go faster. When I had it serviced on Monday, they checked the brakes and found there was still 80% left all round. Happy Days 😀
