Weekly Photo Challenge: Gone But Not Forgotten

This week’s photo challenge is: Gone But Not Forgotten. Come winter there’s lots of things that disappear like flowers, butterflies, and certain migratory birds. Luckily, such things will return the following year. Other wonderful things will never return, and must live on in our memories. Here are my entries for the challenge of the week.

I truly miss our Fuchsia. It didn’t survive last winter.
Hummingbirds and Purple Martins are gone for the season, but they’ll be back.

Texas Bluebonnets only dot the landscape for a few months. I always miss them as soon as they’re gone.
Great American heroes.
Tarbosaurus. A Tyrannosaurus relative. Definitely not forgotten.

About EagleAye

I like looking at the serious subjects in the news and seeking the lighter side of the issue. I love satire and spoofs. I see the ridiculous side of things all the time, and my goal is to share that light-hearted view.

My Mum used to grow Fuchsia in her garden (not in pots) They were magnificent. I miss them both ~sigh~
