The Pen – Mondays Finish the Story

The Pen

Once upon a time in a land far, far away, the river ran red with Orcish blood. With a mighty blow from her sword, Gilda cut the last Orc in twain. Nodding in thanks to her fellow warriors, the Warrior Princess shed her blood-soaked armor. She snatched up the small, spindly scribe standing on the river bank. As the powerful woman dragged him by the scruff into some nearby bushes, the diminutive chronicler gave a wink to the watching warriors.

“What is she thinking?” said Bolgard. Sweat dripped down the rippling muscles of his powerful body.

“She always likes sex after a battle,” explained Egarl, removing armor from his 6’6″ frame. He studiously ignored the grunting sounds from the bushes.

“I know that!” scowled Bolgard. “Here I am, strong and brave, with this great thrusting sword.” He thrust his hips forward meaningfully. “And always she picks that weakling scribe!”

Egarl shrugged. “Methinks his pen is mightier than your sword!”
