Suspect, Never Located – Gargleblaster Microstories #219

“Why rob a zoo?” said Roger, tied up as police sirens approached.

“Shut up!” warned the robber. “Where does that door lead?”

“Oh, the police would never look for you there, because…”

The robber dashed through.

“…It leads to the Tigers Exhibit.”

About EagleAye

I like looking at the serious subjects in the news and seeking the lighter side of the issue. I love satire and spoofs. I see the ridiculous side of things all the time, and my goal is to share that light-hearted view.

I guess robbers and thieves were never much for “look before you leap.” Seems he spared the judicial system some paperwork. 😉 Thanks kindly! 🙂

Oops! too late..he should have heard out Roger. I like the way you build up your micro-stories to a climax and also lend a humorous touch to it.

Some people just won’t stop and listen to the full story. I’m glad you enjoy those twists in the end. It’s my favorite part. Thanks so much! 🙂

I’m currently reading a mystery in which several people have been eaten by big cats, so it was quite a coincidence to read your take on the prompt. I like how the title is separate yet helps wrap up the story.

Thank you! I’m glad you liked that technique. The title gets extra duty in this one. That is funny that you’re reading about folks getting eaten just now. Seems there is a theme going on for you. Thanks much!
