The Dragon’s Bollocks
Shaunessy the tour guide led the little group beside a long crack in the soft soil. At last, he brought them to two towering stones. “And now we’ve arrived at site #11.” Shaunessy pointed to the ancient blocks. “On any map, this site is listed as The Stones of ‘Gaeaughn Yr Aur.’ However, the locals colloquially call them, The Dragon’s Bollocks,” he added with a smirk.
“Bollocks? What’s that mean?” said the American anthropologist from Georgetown University. Without waiting for the translation, he rushed ahead. He began feeling one of the stones, rubbing his hands up and down.
“Ah, sir,” said Shaunessy. “Local officials asked that we not touch the stones.”
“Amazing craftsmanship!” enthused the American, still caressing the stone. “Such a feat with crude tools.”
Suddenly, the ground began to shake. A very long conical stone, in perfect alignment with the Dragon’s Bollocks, rose out of the crack in the soil.
Shaunessy snatched the American away from the stone. “Sir. Bollocks is slang for ‘balls.’ So I’ll thank you not to handle the Dragon’s Balls any further!”

He should’ve stopped to listen, eh? When someone says ‘don’t touch’ you really shouldn’t. Glad you got a laugh from this. Thanks so much! 🙂
