The Quiet Fury

Things had gotten way out of hand. That’s why Brazilia Braga purchased the ancient castle in Lithuania.

Brazilia’s new personal assistant, Cindy, stared at the glamorous actress. “Seriously? He’s tried to kill you?”

“Many times.”

“But why?”

Brazilia shrugged. “He is my ex-husband. If he can’t have me, no one can.”

Cindy peered out the castle’s narrow window. “Is that him climbing up the wall?”

The ex’s sinister voice called up from below. “I am coming for you my darling!”

Brazilia sighed. “Si.”

Cindy stared at the beautiful woman. “How can you be so calm?”

“Calm? I am furious right now.”

Her face looked almost serene.”

“I’ll make it quick!” called the ex.

“But, what are you going to to do?”

“This.” She emptied a large bottle of scented oil out the window.

The oil ran down the wall and onto the ex. “That won’t stop me! I have mountain-climbing gear!”

“Scented oil? That’s furious?”

Brazilia touched a candle to the oil. It burst into flames.

Brazilia smiled at last. “That is.”

Aw shucks! *blush blush* Yep. He burned for her alright, both figuratively and literally. And luckily her stone castle wasn’t harmed in the slightest! Thanks so much, Lyn!

I think if a loose rock fell on the ex, she could always claim she had nothing to do with this horrible accident. And by the look of the castle, there are a lot of loose rocks in its walls.

True, but this was in Lithuania. Police are easily bribed to “not see” things when necessary. Brazilia easily had the funds to ensure “police protection.”
