Rebuffed – Gargleblaster Microstories #234

Officer Ferrelli was handsome, courageous, and he’d saved them from muggers.

He was Karina’s dream. She began unbuttoning her blouse. “Let me thank you.”

Ferrelli looked past her. “Your boyfriend is right there.”

“Oh. I was dumping him tonight.”

Not sure how I feel about the idea of the girl paying for the officer’s services, but the last line was a great surprise!

She was awfully forward about it. Certainly not the demure type. She wasn’t looking to pay as much as looking for a new boyfriend. Still, I’m glad you enjoyed the finish. Thanks Christine! 🙂
