The two men sulked in the car as rain poured outside. “We really should be patrolling, SM,” said SteelDude as he idly polished his metallic skin. “We should be fighting Evil.”
“I know,” said SM. “But this rain, I hate it.”
“Me too,” said SteelDude. “Last time I patrolled in the rain, my joints locked up with rust.”
“Do you ever regret that mad scientist who experimented on us?” said SM.
“No way! He made me impervious to most attacks.”
“I became so light I could fly.”
“Yeah,” said SteelDude. “Still, I think we should cancel tonight’s patrol, SouffleMan.”

Oh I think it’s even more important for Souffle man.. I wonder if he can handle soaking.

Not at all! SM would melt in the rain within minutes. He’d be in serious trouble.

Tasty piece you whipped up this week, EA!

It wasn’t too cheesy, you think? 😉 Thanks much, CE! 🙂

Dear Eric,
This is just a guess, but do you read a lot of comic books? Souffle Man wouldn’t hold up well in the rain, would he? This story made me laugh.
Shalom,
Rochelle

Believe it or not, I don’t. I’ve had a lot of friends that do. I’ve read the occasional comic here and there, so I’m familiar with them. Mostly, I just like the tv shows and movies. Those are great. And yeah, SouffleMan will likely “collapse” out in the rain. 😉 Glad you laughed. Thanks much, Rochelle! 🙂

Now that was a stonkingly good tale! It had all the right features – humor, danger and two main characters with awesome names 😀 Love it!

A superhero who can’t do his job in the rain… Why, that sounds just like our F-35 fighter. 🙂

Haha! Well the F-35 can do it in the rain. They just have to install and debug a million lines of code for 5 years to make it happen. 😉

I wonder if SouffleMan’s super power is to make women drool

I think so. He can fly and deliver sweet goodness along with some chocolate on top. It’s a truly devastating superpower. 😉

True. 🙂 Drool …..

I created Super-hero name generation software in Excel for a training event at work. We had great fun with it. But I never imagined Soufflé Man: how remiss of me.

Haha! I’ll bet that was a fun. That’s really inventive. I have a feeling though, not a lot of people would want to be SouffleMan. He doesn’t have much of a punch. His cousin, SpongeMan has the same problem. At least SouffleMan has good taste. 😉

Good taste but he collapses when someone opens the oven!

Cute story Eric! I can just imagine Steel Man and Soufflé Man patrolling in the rain. One is rusty and the other is soggy. LOL! Probably not the best condition to fight evil. Hahaha!

Yeah, it’s really hard to impress a bad guy when SouffleMan’s fist suddenly droops. 😉 Thanks kindly! 🙂

Just what does Souffle Man do to be a super hero?
Cute story. ;0)

Well, he’s so light he can fly. Female supervillains forget the evil plans and try to eat him. 😉 Thanks very much! 🙂

Fun stuff! They just don’t make superheroes like they used to, eh?

They sure don’t. There’s no more Men of Steel like they used to make them. 😉 Glad you had fun, Dale. Thank you kindly! 🙂

I laughed out loud at this story, Eric, especially the comments. My son was a comic book collector. Souffle Man would really be ruined in the rain. At the most he could seriously make a mess of the villain Pulling himself together would be a major problem. Hiarious and well written. 😀 — Suzanne

Awesome. I loved to hear you got a laugh. I used to watch this hilarious cartoon called, “The Tick.” It was a spoof on superheroes and it was one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen. I just couldn’t pass up a similar gag. Glad you enjoyed the comments too. Thanks so much, Suzanne! 🙂
