This week and Cee’s Fun Foto challenge: we’re looking for buildings and trees. That’s one of my favorite things. Whatever building I’m living in, there’s got to be trees nearby. Here’s my pics for the week:
Palace of Fine Arts, San Francisco
Lombard Avenue, San Francisco
Amlan, Negros Oriental, Philippines
Seoul, South Korea
Botanical Gardens, San Antonio (Yes, there’s a building in there)
Toronto Islands, Canada
Look here to find the pics other folks posted for the week: http://ceenphotography.com/2015/12/01/cees-fun-foto-challenge-buildings-and-trees/
Beautiful! (even the one with the building) 😉

Bulls eye! Yep. When we stopped in The City (San Francisco) we had to stop there. 😉

I didn’t see you labeled the pics… haha. I have a collection of old books on the palace and the fair. Heady times. You inspired me to do this one… http://tedstrutz.com/2015/12/05/cees-fun-foto-challenge-temple-in-the-city/

The City. I grew up in Sacramento, and when anyone said they are going to the city, it was San Francisco. Where I am now we say we are going to the mainland… and the closest city we have is Seattle, but we don’t call it The City.

Hehe. When I first moved into the San Francisco Bay Area (Redwood City), I would say I was going to “San Fran” or “Frisco”. People would grimace. Eventually I was told that’s totally incorrect. It’s called “The City”…because, apparently, there’s no other cities worthy of such a title. 😀 So I still refer to it as The City.

I like all of these! They would look so bare without the trees. Trees give everything a certain welcome and warmth feeling…something very comfortable about them..

That’s exactly how I feel. Trees always make me feel calm and relaxed. Glad you enjoyed them. Thanks much! 🙂
