Found some fun pics on my camera to share. I even found some on my camera taken by Shey. When that moment of a beautiful picture arrives, you grab whatever camera is handy.
Playing catch with Hannah and her hat.
Hannah LOVES her Kindle.
Did you know there are many, many species of Sparrows? Probably everyone has seen House Sparrows. They thrive around human habitation. So we were very excited when their “wild” cousin Song Sparrow visited our backyard and stayed around.
European Starling.
Barn Swallows taking a break next door.
Our garden was bursting with blooms after Spring rains.
It’s not only birds in our garden, but the Faerie Folk seem to like it too.
Oh my gosh….she is getting so big! Beautiful pics! 😉

At first, I thought you wrote that Hannah was playing catch with her cat, and i was horrified. 😀

I know. Juggling cats is scary. That would get us both all scratched up. 😉

True story: When my sons (twins) were newborns, our doctor said not to let a dog or a cat sleep with them because the babies couldn’t turn over and a snuggling animal could smother them.
We had a person renting a room from us at the time (she became more like a member of the family really) who had a cat named Booie.
I caught Booie in the boys’ crib and chased his furry butt downstairs. I figured that would do it, but oh no. The damn cat did it again.
Remember this is on the second floor of the house and there’s a central “well inside of the stairway to the first floor.
I was mad as hell, and I decided to give Booie an instant flying lesson. I grabbed him and tossed him over the banister figuring gravity would do the rest.
The cat used its tail as a counterbalance, did a complete 180 in midair so it could face me, and laid my arm open from elbow to wrist before it dropped.
I ran after that thing like the devil chasing a choir boy and he escaped into our renter’s room…AND he never, ever went upstairs again.

Oh wow! He seriously sliced you up. That’s cats for you. At least he got the message you were trying to pass.

As always your daughter is such a cutie and a sweetheart. Although I’m sure she isn’t always nice for you 🙂

Thank you! Well, she can be a handful sometimes, but generally she’s a little sweetheart. When it comes to putting the groceries away she genuinely is a great help. When she found a cut on my leg, she insisted on putting a bandaid on it. *Awww!*
