About EagleAye

I like looking at the serious subjects in the news and seeking the lighter side of the issue. I love satire and spoofs. I see the ridiculous side of things all the time, and my goal is to share that light-hearted view.

Love these….it looked like the pelicans were walking to work none too happy. “Hi ho, Hi ho…it’s off to work we go.” These were marvelous. Thanks again for sharing.

I’ve got a pic of a pelican sitting on the bow as though he were the Captain. So funny. I’m glad you enjoyed the pics. Thanks so much for stopping in and commenting. 🙂

  3. Great photos… If I have to pick a favorite, I say the red dragon fly shot.

These are fantastic. I love the dragonfly. I would love to be able to capture one like that. Maybe next summer

Thanks! That came out better than I expected. These were all from Rockport, TX on the Gulf coast. The opportunities for nature photography there are tremendous. We love visiting there.

I can imagine. With life there like that, I would love to as well. There is somewhere near here, but with my back, I can’t get to it. I did at the beginning of the year, and then could barely move for three days afterwards, and only slowly for a week more. Wouldn’t have been so bad if I had managed to get some decent photos, but the only life there was cows and sheep. No birds or insects

Shey and I found out how out of shape we were while taking these shots. Each day in Toronto, we’d find a park and hike all day, returning exhausted. By the end of our trip, we needed a vacation from our vacation!

I hope you find a place with more accessible wildlife. I can’t wait to see the pics when you do.
