This post is for Cee’s Fun Foto Challenge: Catching People Unaware
I’ve actually wanted to do this post for a while. I cannot resist the irony of photographing the photographer. I like waiting until my wife, Shey, is completely focused on photographing her subject, and shoot a pic of her when she least expects it. I never grow tired of this. Here are my pics for the week.
No Blue Bonnets were harmed in the making of this picture…

So much to like about these photos, Eric. I love the field of Blue Bonnets, that Blue Heron looks very regal–just sitting there to be admired, but my favourite is the one with the butterfly sitting on Shey’s arm. LOL that camera is almost as big as her 🙂

We couldn’t believe that Heron let us get that close. By then, with the zoom in our cams, we could get detailed maps of the iris in the bird’s eye. We were plenty close enough. I took that shot to prove how close we got. The one with the butterfly on Shey’s arm is my fave too. It was too funny to pass up. Glad you enjoyed the pics and thanks! 🙂

She has such a great Earth-mother vibe that you can’t help but smile when you look at these pictures.

Yes she does. She loves birds and flowers and butterflies. What’s not to like about someone like that? We always have a wonderful time while out hiking. Thanks so much, Shannon! 🙂

Now you just need someone to take a photo of you taking a photo of Shey taking a picture. 🙂

Aha! I know. I do want to do that. That would be so awesome, and then if mirrors could get involved…

That’s a favorite of mine too. It’s one of the first I thought of when considering what to put in. Glad you liked them. Thanks Cee! 🙂
