Cute Ducks

In San Antonio’s Riverwalk, the ducks have learned cuteness goes a long way.

    For some reason, seeing ducks walk about always makes me happy. There’s something charming about their ungainly waddling and quacking. Although if you feed them in the park during the winter, they will mob you and you will feel slightly fearful. All mobs seem scary. Even duck ones.

      I enjoy ducks a lot. Whether feeding them or just watching them cruising across a lake or pond, they have a calming effect. Ducks aren’t worriesome to me, but Geese can be pretty intimidating.

    There’s a small manmade lake near where I live, and I love watching the smaller ducks diving for food. They disappear under the water and pop up halfway across the lake 10-15 seconds later. Amazing that they can do that…I certainly couldn’t 😀
