The scientists huddled jabbering excitedly. The time traveling team had convinced a Native-American to return with them. At last, the meaning of the enigmatic South-Western Native-American pictographs could be conclusively decoded.
Everyone from the anthropological team inserted translator earbuds. The time travel team approached with a sun-browned Paiute Indian between them.
Professor Diaz, leader of the scientists shook Colonel Seton’s hand. “Fantastic work, Colonel. How did you convince him to leave his home?”
Seton shrugged. “I showed him my Twitter feed. He wants to follow Sophia Vergara.”
“Right.” Diaz turned to their guest WoodRunner. “Welcome, Brother.”
WoodRunner nodded shyly.
Diaz turned to a pictograph upon a stone, visible for miles. Obviously a significant message. “What does this mean?”
The scientists interrupted, offering their pet theories.
“It calls on the gods for a good harvest!”
“A warning to rival tribes!”
“No,” said WoodRunner. “This man seeks a wife.”
“Aha! It is a plea to the gods.”
“A magical spell!”
WoodRunner sighed, “It just says he likes long walks holding hands, and he’s a good kisser.”

Sophia Vergara (stars in the comedy: Modern Family)
So, do you follow Sophia Vergara? 😀

Haha! No, I don’t even have a Twitter account, but I did enjoy seeking a sample pic of her. It probably took longer than necessary to find one. 😉

I thought there was some reason you picked her specifically.

Hehe. I was going to say Salma Hayek at first, but I’m not sure folks would remember her as easily.

I’m sure if you posted a photo of her, it would jog a few memories.

Ah, the logical precursor of match.com — rock.com. 😉
I hope the time traveling team finally appreciate what Sophia Vergara can contribute to society. Who knows what other people (and people-like creatures) she could lure to our time-space continuum? The possibilities are endless! All joking aside, Vergara is a great comedic actress as well as a knock-out babe: science really should be using all that charismatic power for good. 🙂

Haha! “rock.com” The original social media! And it’s true, Sophia is not only funny she’s got a body like a Marvel Superhero, previously only possible in comic books. If we want aliens to contact us when they find our space probes, we shouldn’t show DaVinci’s Vitruvian Man, we should show Sophia. 😉 😀 Thanks so much, Joy!

Maybe we should hedge our bets and show both her and.. say, Chris Hemsworth. Although then it would turn out that aliens really prefer short fat bald people. 😀

True. Then we’d have both genders covered. But you bring up an excellent point. Who knows how aliens define beauty? So maybe we should include Rosanne Barr and Danny Devito. 😉

The sort of cultural heritage we are handing on to future generations and any other visitors. Oh dear!

Haha! What will future generations think of us? Maybe they’ll see social media as a profound, solemn religious ritual? 😉

Hahahahaha! Even the ancients needed modes of communication to find a mate! LOL! Love this!

Yep. Sometimes we imbue the ancient peoples with too much nobility. They were human just like us with all our failings, trying to make it through life, trying to find love…and seeking a really good mocha frapuccino. 😉 Thanks much! 🙂

No doubt. Men haven’t evolved very much in just a few centuries. We’re essentially the same creature. Glad you enjoyed things on the light side. Thanks so much! 🙂
