Presidential front runner Hawkins cheered, “I’m in! All my opponents quit the race.”
Then CIA Director Williams handed him the Intelligence Brief for Presidents. “Here’s what’s really happening in the world.”
While Hawkins read, he paled. “Is it too late to quit?”

Something like that would happen to me if I were to run for president. LOL!!

I honestly think something like this happens. When Obama first took office he looked so youthful. Now his face is lined and he’s developed gray hair. Seems that things like this happen to every president. I wonder if every president has free access to anxiety medication. 😀 Thanks so much! 🙂

I have never thought about president’s needing anxiety medicine but I’m sure they do! Yes, that is true about President Obama. He has really aged in 7 years! You are also right about the other presidents- they all aged quickly once they got into office. I do remember President Bush wanted the “almost” President Obama to come visit him so he could tell him about the “position.” Apparently, you are right. Something like this happens when they get into office!

Uneasiness lies in the head that wears the crown…….. and this is so true. Leaders when elected are energetic and by the end of their term are a pale shadow of thwir former self.

Yeah, it’s true. I see it all the time. It seems the crown of state is a thorny one and it weighs mightily. I think anyone who wants the position should take a mandatory psychological evaluation. You gotta be looney to want that job. 😉

Yep, it’s too late. It’s either him or Trump. And he REALLY wouldn’t like the contents of the alternative folder prepared for President Trump.

Trump wouldn’t like ANY intelligence brief. When he finds out he can’t build a wall at the Mexico border, and that he can’t encourage fist-fighting by his followers, and he definitely cannot nuke North Korea, he’ll be crushed I think. Being President is no fun at all. Trump should get out while he can.

haha! this was so clever! But also an unfortunate truth about the world today.

It seems that way to me. I think our world leaders need to be young when they start. That way, after a four-year term, they’ll merely be old. 😉 Glad you enjoyed this. Thanks so much! 🙂

Brilliant! love it. But scarily close to the truth!

Hehe. Perhaps our presidential nominees should have a stress test to be sure their hearts can take it? 😉 Thanks so much! 🙂

That would explain so much. I honestly think that may actually happen.

I do too. It would explain why I’ve watched so many presidents age 12 years in a 4-year term. 😉 Thank you! 🙂

LOL. Yeah. Some things you don’t actually want to know.
Although if they put the Area 51 file at the top…

Naw. Area 51 is just bait for the conspiricists. Area 63 is where the good stuff is kept. That one is on top. 😉 Thanks much! 🙂

I’m surprised the CIA was so forthcoming so soon after the election.

It’s a new procedure to insure the candidates can handle the pressure. There’s always a heart surgeon handy when they offer up the brief. 😉

Seriously. I have no idea why anyone would want that thankless job.

I agree. You gotta be a little bit crazy to want it. Reagan exited the office with Alzheimers. I think that speaks volumes. 😉

Seems like the worst job ever. I wish certain people would drop out of the current race. So scary right now.

It really is. Look at the vicious press Obama gets all the time. Our choices this time around don’t seem very good do they?

Amazing how things seem so simple when you are applying for the job, yet once you are in the position and have all the responsibilities that go with the job, things aren’t so simple any more! They all tell us what they will do, when they are President, however, anyone can say it….the test comes when it actually has to be done! It’s a thankless job, but some are better at it than others and there are a few that are absolutely insanely horrible at it! I do hope…the next 8 years will be a whole lot better than the last 7 1/2 ! Just saying…

You know, a lot of guys make these promises and then down the line they don’t fulfill it. People say “ha! they lied!” I don’t necessarily think so. Sometimes I think they get to the office and become the “most powerful man in the free world” only to realize that in most instances their hands are tied and there’s actually very little they “can” do. It’s a rough job. I wouldn’t wish it on on anyone. 😉

That’s one job I wouldn’t take on for love nor money. Though having said that, I’m proud to say my eleven-year-old grandson has been made School Captain (Student Body President) for 2016. An exciting way to finish your Grade School education 🙂

Woohoo! Good for your grandson. That’s great. He’s on his way into politics. He might just want to stop at senator though. Becoming president seems to trigger premature aging. 😉 Thanks Lyn! 🙂
